Pet Friendly Vacation Rentals

Welcome all the furry friends to Cornerstone Cabins & Lodge  in Banner Elk, NC. We are pet friendly as pet friendly can get. Cornerstone Cabins & Lodge loves your animals just as much as you do. To bring a pet with you to Cornerstone Cabins & Lodge, we do require just a couple things from you and your pet.

 

Fee:

We charge a $35.00 pet fee (per a pet) for the entire stay at the Cabins or Lodge.

 

We Ask:

-That you please pick up after your pet uses the bathroom.

-Keep your pets on leashes when other people are around.

 

We Provide:

-Dog waste bags (used for picking up after your pet)

-A goodie bag for the pet to enjoy their stay.

-Dog treats

Come stay at Cornerstone Cabins & Lodge and check out the Biltmore Estates in Asheville, NC. The Biltmore Estates is located 90 minutes from our property.

The tickets are $59.00 for adults and $29.50 for youth between 10-16. There is also a reduced price for guest who have limited mobility.

The luxurious family home of George and Edith Vanderbilt is a marvel of elegance and charm, as magnificent today as it was more than a century ago. Your self-guided house visit spans three floors and the basement. You’ll see displays of vintage clothing, accessories, art, furniture, and more that tell stories and illustrate the lives of the Vanderbilt family, their guests, and employees.

Get a close look at original art by Pierre-Auguste Renoir and John Singer Sargent. Marvel at magnificent 16th century tapestries, a Library with 10,000 volumes, a Banquet Hall with a 70-foot ceiling, 65 fireplaces, an indoor pool, and a bowling alley. Almost all of the priceless objects that you see throughout the house are from George and Edith Vanderbilt’s original collection.

Your self-guided visit is included in estate admission. An in-depth audio guide and guided specialty tours are also available at additional cost.

 

 

Woolly Worm Festival

Its almost that time of year again where thousand of people will gather together to race woolly worms and predict the weather for 2016/2017. This year is the 39th Annual Woolly Worm Festival which will be held October 15-16th.

Pricing:

Adults- $ 5.00

Children- $ 3.00 (6-12 years old)

5 and under are Free

** Note: they only accept Cash at the Gate but there will be ATMs located in the area. No pets are allowed inside the Festival unless they are service animals.**
